Frere Jacques

Frere Jacques is produced in Quebec by the Benedictine Monks at the Abbaye de St. Benoit-Du-Lac.  It is a firm cow’s milk cheese with an edible orange rind.  It has a faint hazelnut flavour, with a chewy, squeaky texture.  Great melting quality for grilled cheese sandwiches.  Kids of all ages love Frere Jacques.  We sometimes ask you to sing the song if you sample this one!
