Anglican Church Women’s Bi-Annual Luncheon

We were delighted to be invited to the ACW luncheon on May 23rd, where we enjoyed a wonderful meal and met some lovely folks. Eugene, The Big Cheese, gave a little talk about the history of cheese in Canada. Samples of several cheeses, 1608 Fromagerie Charlevoix, a raw cow’s milk washed-rind cheese from the Charlevoix region in Quebec, Vlaskaas, a young gouda from Holland, and Thunder Oak Swiss from Thunder Bay, Ontario, were offered to guests afterwards, as well as a mound of water buffalo milk cheese curds from Monforte Dairy in Stratford. Many thanks for the opportunity, the delicious food and the new friendships.
